Waar gaat Love, Election, & Chocolate over?
Yuuki Oojima gaat, samen met 6.000 andere studenten, naar de particuliere Takafuji Academy en maakt daar deel uit van een schoolclub voor voedselstudies met zijn jeugdvriend Chisato Sumiyoshi. De leden van de club verspillen echter hun tijd aan nietszeggende activiteiten. Wanneer de verkiezing van de voorzitter van de studentenraad voor de deur staat, eist de favoriet voor de functie, Satsuki Shinonome genaamd, dat elke club die niets bijzonders doet, wordt gesloten. De clubleden vragen advies aan de huidige voorzitter van de studentenraad, Yakumo Mouri, die Yuuki aanbeveelt om zich kandidaat te stellen als tegenkandidaat. Hij besluit uiteindelijk om precies dat te doen ...
